Governance & Compliance
How MVS approaches corporate governance, regulatory compliance, financial crime prevention and professional conduct.
Governance
Corporate Governance
MVS Money Brokers Limited is committed to maintaining high standards of corporate governance, accountability and responsible business conduct.
The company operates under the oversight of its Board of Directors, which is responsible for providing strategic direction, supervising management and ensuring that the company’s activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.
Our governance framework is supported by clearly defined responsibilities, appropriate segregation of duties and internal control procedures proportionate to the nature and scale of our operations as a regulated financial intermediary. These arrangements are designed to promote effective oversight, sound decision-making and the responsible management of operational, regulatory and reputational risk.
MVS continues to review and strengthen its governance practices to support regulatory compliance, operational resilience and the long-term interests of its stakeholders.
Compliance
Compliance & Financial Crime Prevention
As a Licensed Money Broking Company, MVS operates within the regulatory framework established by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and is subject to ongoing regulatory oversight, reporting requirements and periodic supervisory examinations.
The company is committed to complying with all applicable money broking regulations, directions and regulatory requirements governing its activities. Our compliance framework is designed to promote lawful, transparent and responsible conduct across every area of the business.
We transact only with eligible institutional counterparties and apply appropriate procedures to verify their identity, regulatory status and authority to conduct business. Counterparty and transaction information is handled with strict confidentiality and disclosed only where permitted or required by law.
Through ongoing monitoring, staff awareness and internal review, MVS seeks to maintain an effective compliance culture and ensure that regulatory responsibilities are embedded throughout its operations.
Ethics
